The Rescue Riders are ready to transport for you with safe, reliable, compassionate and direct service. There’s no longer a need to string together various transporters to get your rescues from one place to another. The Rescue Riders offers non-stop service for all kinds of animals. We can also make stops (such as at the Vets or for supplies) if you need us to! We’re based in Southern California but can arrange transportation out-of-state as well. And if it makes more sense to fly…well…we’re happy to provide an on board escort!

The Rescue Riders is more than just a transport service. We make sure that our precious passengers are fed, watered, comforted and even medicated if need be, because we know that sometimes things just can’t wait! Emergency and last-minute transports are our specialty!

Our rescues are safely transported in the appropriate kennels, crates and carriers that are cleaned and sanitized between uses. Large dogs are securely tethered when riding loose in our vehicles.

The Rescue Riders is run by Tammy Trujillo and Randy Hill.

You may have heard Tammy on the radio in Southern California. In addition to news, Tammy has won numerous awards for her coverage of animal issues and her work promoting various rescues. Animals have always been her passion and she is a Certified Animal Behaviorist.

Randy rocks…really! Currently a member of the band Sha Na Na, Randy has toured the world with recording bands since he was a teenager. But the pets and rescues he transports are the real stars in his life. Randy is the long-distance specialist at The Rescue Riders!

Both Tammy and Randy have training in basic animal medical needs and in animal CPR.
